Before ordering

Can I change my mind after placing an order?

Understand the difference between a change of preference and a significant error.

A new preference isn't grounds for a redo

Once your book has been created, we don't offer to redo it because you'd prefer a different story, new characters, another photo, a different outfit or another setting. A likeness you feel isn't close enough, or a small detail in visual consistency, isn't grounds for a touch-up either. These choices need to be made before you order.

If you've just spotted a significant error

Report the problem from the book concerned, after reading the guide to possible corrections. Tell us exactly which page and what makes the book hard to understand or read properly. A badly distorted image or a missing passage can be reviewed. A request doesn't guarantee a correction or that production will be stopped.

The dedication is a special case

You can edit your personal message and signature from Edit, when the feature is available. Save, follow the PDF update if one is offered, then check the result in the file opened from the site. The dedication can't be used to request a rewrite of the story.

Once production has started

Once your book has gone to the printer, editing is locked and changes can no longer be guaranteed. An edit can't change a copy that has already been printed or received. If a significant error needs to be reviewed, don't confirm printing while waiting for an expected fix.

For an address or payment error, or a cancellation request

See the relevant guide and ask for a check quickly, quoting your order number. These issues are different from a request to touch up the book. Our team replies based on your order and how far along it is; this article doesn't promise a cancellation or refund.
