Can I add loved ones, a pet or a cuddly toy?

In the guided creation
The Team step lets you add the characters offered in your journey: for example a parent, a brother, a sister, a friend or a pet. Enter their first name or name, their role and the information requested. Add their photo in their own profile if you'd like it to be used as a reference.
How many characters can I add?
The number allowed depends on the journey and the book you've chosen. Check the limit, the characters included and any extras shown at the Team step. In the custom form, you can enter the hero and up to four additional characters; the price varies depending on your selection.
Don't hide a new character in the notes
If you'd like a loved one to appear in the book, add them in the section reserved for characters. A simple mention in the interests or notes doesn't replace their profile. Some books require a certain character or role to preserve their concept: please follow their guidelines.
For a cuddly toy or a very special object
A photo helps show what you have in mind, but an exact reproduction cannot be guaranteed. Read the guidance on visual likeness before adding it. Choose your characters before buying. If your journey still allows you to complete the character details after ordering, do so before the book is created and within the limit shown. Adding or replacing a character in an existing book is not a small adjustment and is not offered for a change of preference.
