My book

How do I review and approve my book?

Open the full book, check it and understand how it goes to print.

1. Open your book

Log in to your account with the email address used for your order. Open My books, then the book in question. Once the full book is ready, open or download its PDF to read every page.

2. Check the essentials

Read through the name, the dedication and the text. Look at the illustrations for any major error. The preview before purchase and the full PDF are not the same step: the review before printing is of the complete book.

If a major error needs to be reviewed or you can't open the PDF, don't approve blindly. Read the relevant article and explain the issue to Alfred.

3. Confirm when you're done

Use the print approval button shown on the book page. Keep to the deadline shown on that page or in your email: automatic approval may happen if you do nothing.

What does Ready to print mean?

Ready to print means the book is waiting to be sent to the printer. It does not mean it has already been made. Printing in progress means it has been sent to the printer. Once production has begun, changes can no longer be guaranteed.

If you approved by mistake and spotted a significant error, report it right away from the book in question. A request doesn't guarantee that printing that has already started can be stopped.
